Music Magpie Another way to make money from CDs is with Music Magpie Music Magpie will give you cash for your CDs(DVDs & games as well). See advertising video below. What they pay, and even if they will buy the CD at all, is based on the value determined by them at the time; my experience has shown that they will offer between 30p and £3 per CD.
It is very easy to sell your CDs with Music Magpie, you simply enter the barcode of the CD and the offer price will be displayed. They even provide free postage, or courier for large collections. When received and assessed they will send you a cheque. Just be warned though, the CDs and cases have to be in good condition. They state on their website that; the disk must be in a perfect playing condition and it must have all the original artwork, covers and booklets. The case must be structurally sound although we accept it may have some blemishes incurred during day to day use. They can deduct from the money offered for cleaning etc. If the CD is not accepted due to poor condition they will “recycle your CD free of charge”. You will not get these CDs back. It is worth cross checking with an on-line auction site such as Ebay if the item is worth more than the Music Magpie offer; just remember that you have to pay Ebay charges (and Paypal if you accept this method of payment), also that many items have a limit on the post and package you can charge; £1 for CDs (see more on the Ebay page). ![]() ![]() |
